i recently bought a 95 gs 2g with lambo doors. the door shocks are smoked and the doors wont stay up as soon as the temp drops below 50F.

are the shocks all the same/universal? is there a brand that anyone recommends?

thanks

i had them on my non turbo back in the day and i bought some off ebay and they never fail me

You are aware that the weather is a tad different in Vermont than it is in Southern California, yes?

ps. The weather is here; wish you were beautiful.

Yes they are mostly universal. You just have to make sure the threads are right and that you get the shocks that are rated for your door. You probably want 750- 850s. I have a pair of 850 brand new I could sell you. Pm if your interested.

i think im going to find a set of stock hinges. after some research i cant find anybody that likes their lambo doors. it seems that after a month they are just a pain in the ass.

so how do you get to the hinges, does the fender have to come off? looks like they are pretty far in there.

No you dont have to take the fender off. just take the door off and thats it. And for the stock hinges you are going to need to take off the side door panel

If it was me I would stay with Lamborghini doors and get shocks. Some are universal but not all, check before you buy.
