KYB adjustable shocks

I bought my talon with them on and I cant find a manual. How do I adjust them cause my ride sucks. Anyone know what they should be set at for a nice ride?

Mine too. 4 in the front, 8 in the rear.

And to clarify. 1<--Softest - Hardest-->8

to me persoally it feels like the fronts are set much harder than the backs feels wierd

Yea if you buy ebay kyb shocks you will get 1-4 in the back instead of 1-8 friend of mine did it (not real kyb)

My gr2's are very stiff up front and bouncey and soft in the back. I'm thinking I need the Agx's in the back or something. I've also heard alot of people talk about their shocks blowing out and recommending getting Koni's. What do you all think about that ?

I have Koni yellows on the front and AGX on the back. The reason being, is that the rear Koni's have to be removed to adjust them and the fronts don't. I wanted to be able to reach under and adjust the rears up for the dragstrip without the hassle of pulling the wheels and struts. Right now I have my Koni's on 1/2 and my AGX's on 3. It's firm but still comfortable and driveable.

I was planning on gettin Koni yellows this spring, I haven't looked into them much but hear they are a better strut. I didn't realize they had to be removed to be adjusted.

Okay so umm had my shocks adusted to the max in the back like some of you told me before. Now everything in my hatch is flying around and I have to grab the wheel so I dont practically bounce out of my friggin seat. No way in hell is "stock" at whatever the back is at the max. So I go back tomorrow early in the morning what do I want my backs to be? seriously I just want the car feeling like a accord or jetta or whatever not a friggin pogo stick. my shocks are at mid in front and max in back.

Are you nuts, 1 is lowest, 8 is stiffest back there. Why would stock be the stiffest setting.

Set the front at 1, rear at 1. Work your way up from there. I told you that in the first reply to this thread but you didn't want to listen to me. Hell I autox with the front at 1 and the rear at only about 4.

this is a good thread. I was planning on getting the kyb agxs and setting the rears stiffer than the front ( fwd reasons ) i believe ill follow your example kyle, with the 1 at front and 4 at rear.
Oh and i noticed you have lsd, does it really make a difference because i spin bad thru the top of first. I also thought about welding the center dif. considering i dont have money for a lsd anytime soon. but that would make it unstreetable probably? ( I know a guy with a 1st gen neon with a str4 engine who welded his and it doesnt like turns too much but he still drives it everyday. )

In another thread too everyone said do 2 and 4 or 4 and 8. Well they set my fronts at 2-4 or 4-8. If they are at the same like 2 and 2 or 4 and 4 is that bad? Cause my front seems just fine I guess?
