Ill be buying a 190 from them, I have a 250 but dont wanna buy a FPR yet.

Hmm, who is daring enough to test these. Blow up your motor from a fuel loss. I dont think I will touch one of these when the walboro is already so cheap

^ Exactly. A FMIC is a different story, we're talking a differential of 4-500 dollars, but with this application why risk it when a wallbro is only like 90 bucks?

Its quite apparent from many of the threads serfacing lately that this is the trend the dsm community is heading towards.

Since we need some risk funds, in case our local government found us making this pump, we can pay some money to solve this matter. Hope you can understand.

Incredible! Not only do these guys know exactly what they are doing, they realize it is illegal and even charge a few dollars more for the Walbro-stamped versions so they can build a fund to buy-off the officials from their local government when they are discovered!

Possible BS flag: I thougt the situation was that China doesn't recognize international copyright and trademark laws. What "trouble" would they get in locally?

Ebay specials are reserved for non-mechanical parts only for me!

same here. or at least stuff that wont cause a mojor problem if/when it fails

There is plenty of products on ebay for dsm'ers, I think its great that these guys are able to get products to such a low price. But there has to be a line, i mean the fmic kit, the radiators, intakes, that are all 80% cheaper then these companies that devote thier business to the dsm community. Those are products we can get away with, but when they start putting electronics like knock off MAF-T, any kind of tuning devices, fuel pumps, i think thats where you have to draw the line and its really just going to take the real dsm'ers to understand what can potentially be a decent product for really cheap and a product that can be possibly dangerous for your car(s). Which i feel bad for people just getting into dsm's for thier first performance car and they are out buying all kinds of knock off stuff on ebay and they start having all kinds of problems cause of some bad quality products can start giving any car a bad reputation....

hehe, like the dsm reputation even has a good rep...

I think as senior-DSMer's we should all try to set an example for the new DSMer's. We shouldn't support knockoff products as they have negative effects ranging from taking business from the vendors to potentially hurting our cars.

Yes, that is a true, but we have to set the right examples for new dsm'ers, im not going to tell these guys not to go buy a $200 XSPower fmic, simply because there are people on here that have used them and they worked good, not all "knock-off" dsm products should be pushed to the side. I think its pretty cool how these guys can get these amazing prices for some of the decent stuff they sell, but knowlege them with a threads with pros and cons about major ebay stores and thier products we have tried, and about taking business from vendors.. This is really not our problem, its corperate America, everyone with a business is out for the buck. Whoever has the cheapest price for a decent product is going to make the money.

They won't listen anyway, they just argue about how they don't have enough money to buy the quality part so all they can get is the cheap shit and they wonder why their shit keeps breaking.

They used to before a bunch of broke asses kept buying the cars and not taking care of them. The motto back in the day was "go fast with class" now its "lets see how short of a time my car is going to run this time because I ghetto rigged my shit."

thats some bs, walboro pumps are already affordable as it is, why even bother?

I agree. I remember when I first got into dsms (pretty late in my opinion) I was to broke to buy mods but if and when I had to I was willing to fork out the money to fix my car right. The "go fast with class" moto seems to be dead.

in a couple years, you could probably build a 12 second dsm for under 1k... thats kinda sad. (and yes, I understand that some people may have done it, but personally, I got my car for 2200, and Im saying anyone who wants to could find a running awd dsm for a couple hundred and slap on a few parts to put them at the 1k mark and run 12's.)

that will be a very cool day, also, dsm "reliability" will be at an all time low. I wonder why......

when it comes to my car i stick to vendors found on the tuners site. Id rather do it once then 5 times using cheap parts to save a couple bucks. Money comes and goes and ill make more tomorrow

You couldn't be more wrong. You know people would argue that they are made in the same factory as the real ones. They just aren't marked up in price because you aren't buying the 'name.'

Yes, unfotunately it is. I can already see the change in the dsm community happening(hopefully it won't or at least won't be so bad as my example), I mean really I should have seen it all along. The same thing that happened in the honda world is going to happen here. The cars are starting to get cheap(not that they were not all along), and you are going to have two groups of dsmers the ones that buy the name brand stuff and the ones that buy the ebay stuff. Then the two groups are going to argue which is better. And there is going to be a huge divide in the community. Deffinately a sad beggining indeed.

I would say the Honda world has made a come back. Those people demand the most JDM stuff for their cars. They pay top dollar for some rare stuff. Then there are the regular Honda guys who haven't left the year 1997.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for DSM's.
