I just got my car back together after $2000 of new parts with an engine that has 90k miles. I was out cruising today and everything was fine. No loss in power or anything... but after I park my car a friend came over about 30 minutes later and wanted to hear it run. So we went out and tried to start it up, and there was a clickty-clack metal on metal sound coming from around the throttle body and now my car won't stay on at all. I have no idea how this could of happened and I really fear that my car threw a rod. Is there anything else that would cause that sound and keep my car from running? Perhaps something to do with the ignition?? I hate this car.
