Knock Sensor Wires

Stupid question, did research, but to no avail. What color are the knock sensor wires on a 1g on the car side? Black and white? And I also have a HUGE brown wire with a white tracer with what looks like a black and yellow wire, and I think shielding wire? Will post pics of wire if need be. Thanks

why do you ask? can you not locate the knock wire harness? I'll run down and look in a min.

I ask because the harness on this car is butchered to hell, there are wires connected to other wires that I can tell are hack jobs. I just want to know which wires to trace to find the leads, and see what happened to the plug for the knock sensor. Everything else on this car was butchered, so God knows what they were doing with the ks.

Well I do know that the knock sensor has a hot wire and a ground that runs into and solderd to a open wire that wines around the hot wire. I know that sounds weried but trust me I had to replace it one time. So as for the colors go the ground only runs with a shell on it for about 5 inches. Then it has a solder point tucked into a rubber boot. and then wines around the hot wire. It's dark now but I will take a look at what color the hot wire is tomorrow. I won't be able to relay it to you untill about 7 pm though sorry.
