Well i have a 92 N/A 6 bolt eclipse, i took the head off and i noticed that i have a place for a knock sensor. I thought all N/A motor didnt have the knock sensor hole tapped with threads or anything. Did they only thread some and not others or is mine just different LOL.
Thanks Mike

The guy i bought my car from never told me if the motor has been replaced or anything. I just thought it was weird that it had the hole. Everything i have seen said the non turbos shouldnt have it.

There is a hole that can be used for the knock sensor high, between the 1 and 2 cylinders (if I remember correctly) on the back of the block. I have not seen a 4g63 NA that doesn't have this.
