1G knock sensor on a 2g?

I am in the middle of doing a 6 bolt swap on my 98 gsx.
One of the things I was wondering is if the knock sensor from a 1g will work on a 2g. They have the same connector, But I do know one is an OBD1 and the other is an OBD2 car.

Help!
