I am getting a lot of knock between 2 and 4k RPM at light and moderate throttle. I don't see anything in my logs. Short of pulling timing out of the stock timing maps, I don't know what to do.

Log attached.

Seems to be worse at cold temps.

took a quick look over your log. The only thing that pops out to me is that your tps is off. At idle its reading .59v
It should be at .63
Might not solve your problem but its a good start. Your fuel trims look good, and your tracking AFR at knock is on point, so id start with that. You can also pull some timing where its knocking and see if that helps.

Hmm. I just adjusted the tps and it was dead on. Maybe it moved.

I was hoping to leave timing alone since it is the stock map, but I suppose the car isn't stock anymore so it might make sense.

Im also still learning this whole tuning aspect, but from my research, knock on partial throttle, is either phantom knock or a mechanical problem.
Have you checked your plugs and wires lately?
It wouldnt be a bad idea to pull them and inspect them and check the gap

I was getting knock like crazy with polymounts and no balance shafts. Tried everything to get rid of it but still was there intermittently. Classified it as phantom knock. Couldn't get rid of it no matter what I tried and this was on E85. There is a setting on ecmlink where u can set it to ignore knock at certain rpm or load. I have mine set to 3200 and been running like a champ. Something to consider.

Was gonna look at the plugs later this week.

Are you supposed to hear something when knock happens? I don't hear anything unusual.

Might have to bump up the window. Hate seeing the light come on.

I don't see anything abnormal that would cause the knock you're seeing. You're at super low throttle, load, and RPM.

Adjust your knock threshold if the CEL is annoying you.

What are your plugs gapped at?

That's what i was thinking.

I gapped them at whatever the normal spec is 0.28 i think?

I'm at work so I can't read the log. What is the knock threshold set at? If your seeing knock at little to no boost raise the rpm threshold. I had the same problem and it killed performance, but it's more then likely phantom knock.

noisy lifters and exhaust leaks will both cause phantom knock. my knock sensor is disabled at less then 3000rpm/30% load. x2 On what GST with PSI and Boosted said.

I was at 2200 and 0%. I will up it a bit so I can stop worrying about it.
