Well I'm not quite sure why it does this so thats why im posting.

My car runs awesome until 4500rpm in 3rd, 4th gear. At which time it starts go knock and retard the timing. What would be the number one causes of this?

My guesses are either spark plug wires, or something to do with my injetors/fuel pump. I know I have a leaky or more then one leaky injector b/c my fuel pressure leaks out if the car sits for a while.

But ya, anyone have any ideas?

you dont really give enough info to properly diagnose it could a a few different things. running lean would be my first guess. What are you using for tuning?

Im having the same problem, im fine thru 1st and 2nd cause they go by so quickly but as soon as i shift to 3rd around 4500+ i get upwards of 9 counts. I narrowed it to a boost lead of some sorts considering im maxing out my stock injectors at 15psi and/or im just running out of fuel up top. If you have a logger id suggest logging your idc, cause mines around 98%

I am not running lean, I have to SUBTRACT fuel from 3k on b/c im running so rich. First of all thats not possible but thast what my logger says and so I dont know wtf is going on. I should not be subtracting any fuel at all anywhere right now with 450's, or the mods I have.

So I dont know...?
