Kind of a general question

I know I dont like autos either. But shes really clean and never been modded and swapping in a 5speed would be cheaper then doing all that work to your N/T.

He has tons of other parts too. He probably would just give some away cause he is sick of looking at it all

Yeah, but I'd rather just find one with a 5sp already in it and save myself the trouble of swapping a tranny.

Then don't get it be patient keep your eye out for exactly what you want(or close to it). I wanted a cheap stock 1g AWD manual. What did I get 1 year later a free Laser RS awd shell no motor or drivetrain LOL.

Hahaha, that's um... close... right? hahaa

Well just keep your eyes open then and if you have a couple grand to spend you will find one. I would keep the laser you have right now too, DD!! If possible.

I'll probably end up keeping it. It has really low miles on it, but I doubt I would get much for it. A 94' with 88k on it is unheard of though.

Hey maybe you'll find a turbo dsm that looks exactly like your 1.8. Go to the track run a 16 go home and come back in 5 min with the turbo run a 12. Have people scratchin their heads.

Bate someone in with the non-turbo tell them I bet I could take them. Then say hang on one second I'll be right back... and come back with the turbo. :)

Or get me killed by the guy that figures it out. Whatever comes first.

Well now I really feel like an asshole. I spent 1,500 for my base, stock Laser.

Nah man if the powertrain and drivetrain on that car look good then it really wasn't to bad of a price.
I would just keep that car, if money allows, as a drive around town and get good gas mileage car. Save your money and buy a project turbo DSM. I know its not what you want to hear, but me and a buddy went in 50/50 and got a DSM for like only 450 bucks, of course since then I've alone put in atleast 100 hours on that thing replacing every seal and putting on a new exhaust system.
