key wont turn in ignition - after I installed S-AFC any connection?

I didnt think they had a connection but now both my keys wont turn the igntion to ACC or on or Start it just wont turn is there a button or something i swiched? it was working yesturday befoe i took the cpu out

Can you move the drivers wheel at all? Move it to one side as far as you can then try it. More than likely this will fix the problem

There is absolutly no connection between the S-AFC and the key cylinder on the steering wheel. You shouldn't have even been near the ignition harness or key cylinder if you were installing a SAFC on your car.

But yes, try moving the steering wheel to the left or right while trying to turn the key. . A dumb thing, but make sure it's not your friends key or something silly like that.

first off I need to hunt these little gremlins inside my car and get rid of them so ya was out there before and tryed moving the wheel (the wheel wasent turned but I tryed it anyway) nothing so i played around with it some more and im like wtf this ios mechanical what can be stoping this... so I come inside to see if im doing somthing wrong , everyone posts, and im like geeer well lemme go try to fight it again and when I did it was good....I donno but im not havinh very much luck with my first DSM.... but I still love it
