Hey guys, as of right now I have no rust. Nothing on the body but a little surface rust on the bottom im sure. Well with all this snow and salt crap out, im wondering if there is anything I can do to keep it away. I'm talking about getting it rust-proofed or something on that extreme. I'm just worried that driving around in this crap on the roads all the time is going to eat my car...

Store that beast like the rest of us upstaters. :)

or rinse it off every couple of days and you'll be fine. Rinse the main parts - intercooler, underbody, etc.

Wax in the fall and Wash Wash Wash in the winter. Living in upper michigan this is a constant battle. Having your car rust proofed my help out. If your worried about underbody rusting there is a product available that is called chassis saver. Make sure it is that name brand. It is the toughest crap I have ever worked with. That will pretty much keep anything out if you apply it before it starts.

All you can really do is wash it everytime they put salt down on the roads. Find a wash that has a high pressure undercarage wash. I would do it at least twice a week to keep it purdy.
