im looking at a 91 Talon TSI 5spd AWD right now....i really wanted to know if...putting an exhaust an intake wires pluges you know basic things and SAFC I or II and DSMlink be fine....cause i really don't wanna mod it out so much keep it more stock but would those mods be fine and and keep my laptop in the car and get a longer cable to connect the laptop to the ECU so i can leave the laptop in my car plugged in all the time just take it out when needed to charge....if you can make that out....it be great help...so i know before i buy it

Yeah I guess that would be fine. I don't think there is a rule saying how much or how little you have to mod your car. The mods you named are fine. As for the other part, what you said is pretty much what I do. I have the logger cable hooked up to the port, and the other end hooked up to my laptop. When the laptop needs a charge I just unplug it and leave the cable hooked up to the port and I just tuck it neatly in the crease next to my seat. I don't really think dsmlink is needed for the little bit of mods you plan on running but it's up to you.

You can get away with, intake, exhaust, boost controller at 16psi, rewire fuel pump, boost gauge and SAFC I or II for around $500 probably and depending on your driving skills have close to a 12 second car. This will keep it basically stock too but give it a little extra when you want. DSMLink honeslty would be a bit overkill for stock mods.

ok cool....cause i really didn't want to get DSMlink but they way everyone talks about its like needed

don't worry about doing too many mods. first keep in mind your goals. drag, road race, autocross or just a quick street car. i have only put a dp, exhaust, safc, and a fuel pump on my car. im running 17psi on the 14b and i can run low 13's. its as simple as that. just do a little porting on the manifold and turbine housing and you should be good to go
