Ok so I bought my talon about 3 months ago and have been doing maintenance on it to get it back to 100% so I can start mods. Here's what I've done so far: changed the spark plugs, changed the plug wires, changed the the belts, changed the fuel filter, and changed the alternator. All of it has been replaced with new parts. Anyways my car still runs pretty rich. I need to replace the front O2 sensor for sure, i think that would help with the mpg's. Also I was thinking about actually pulling the fule injectors to make sure they look in good shape. How would i do this though and what do I need to look for when checking them? Is there a tech article on this at all? I've searched on here but didn't really come up with anything. If someone could help put me in the right direction that'd be great. :) Thanks :D

Oh and i'm also going to do a MAF check today.

check your timing if you have a 1g and check the timing belt and balance shaft belts for wear, if they show cracks or any signs of weekness replace immediately before one of them snaps and takes your head out and possibly your lower end as well

Well I was hoping more for a reply about how to check the injectors though... LOL thanks for that tip also none the less. :)

check your plugs for the injectors, that will tell you alot, also throw some fuel injector cleaner in there if you are worried, if the plugs all look the same and show good condition then im sure the injectors are fine!

Ok :) they all did when I first took them out. I replaced them a few weeks back and nothing has changed since. I'll just put some cleaner in to make sure though.
