OK
so I just installed a walbro 255, the install went really smooth. First time i started up the car, and revved it a couple times i blew a bunch of smoke out the tailpipe. Is this normal? or did something go wrong somewhere?

If it's black, I wouldn't be worried. However, the 255 dlows enough fuel that you'll need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to get it down to where you want it. The 255 is likely overflowing the stock fuel pressure regulator. Don't get the commandflo afpr. Get something like the afx one. The commandflo doesn't let you decrease fuel pressure which is what it sounds like you need to do.

Sounds to me like it's just excess fuel from that bigass fuel pump. Completely normal - welcome LOL! Something to tune the fuel down will make the car run a little better now
