halifax,
ok so we just put in the walbro 255 fp and tuned the maft a bit and afr was running right around 11.... on the way home we did a highway pull and it goes down to around 10.1-10.XX
is this still safe or should we turn the fuel pressure regulator down a psi or 2?
any help would be great!
p.s turbo is a gt35r running 20psi if that helps

well the guy who installed everything tuned it for me. at wot it was 11.xx but just started running 10.xx
the wideband i have is a dynojet and it has a logger box attached to it but i dont even know how to use it LOL
i will be getting dsmlink soon and meth as well.

so with just a maft and wideband how would i lean it out a little bit?

hmm i dont think he left it in the car actually. I will more than likely just get him to adjust it for me so i dont mess anything up LOL so technically the car should be fine running in the 10's for afr?

ok i will try to get it adjusted to atleast higher up in the 10's. as for weather, it shouldnt be any hotter than 30 degrees celcius, but on that note, we only have 91 octane fuel up here so it kinda sucks for turbo applications. the car's temp was going up a bit today but i've only got 1 slimfan at the moment, which I will be getting another one in about a week.

He has a 1st gen are they not from the factory richer than 10's? I say your fine but you could lean it out a bit because your leaving power on the table.

You are right. They can actually dip into the 9.8:1 range.

so do you make the most power at 11:1?

Every car is different. But yes, 11:1 is a good air/fuel ratio to make power on pump gas.

ok.. so another thing.... i may be off a bit on the afr because the dynojet w/b only goes to 10 on the gauge so it may be more... i took the cover off the maft and turned it *counter clockwise* . dejonpowerhouse had the instructions on their site .. so 1 click on that maf t should be ok or should i have turned it more than 1 click?
