!!! If you install this, when you are getting ready to tighten down the pressure plate, you should spin the alignment tool clockwise about 1/4 of a turn to ensure that the disks are 100% lined up. The reason you have to do this, is because the plastic alignment tool is cheap and has lots of slop, so when you go to toss the transmisson on if you do not rotate the disks to line the up 100% you will not be able to get the trans on. Also the MA Performance flywheel, which is just a Fidanza flywheel, has a larger alignment hole then the standard ACT alignment tool, this means you will need to toss some tape or something around the alignemt tool to make it fit in there.

I used red loctite on the flywheel bolts, which I have read somewhere that you should never do that, but I did anyhow. I torqued the Flywheel bolts to 80 foot pounds, and on the bolts that hold the pressure plate I torqued those to 30 foot pounds. No loctite on the pressure plate.

MAPerformance pre cut Fork. I put it in and tested it, and it was still hitting on the clutch. So I had to further modify it. I would recommend that you grind off a little extra just in case, unless you have the engine and trans out of the car. For me it was easy to modify and test.

In these pics you can see where it was rubbing on the clutch.

Very nice choice on clutch. A lot of people out there choose the wrong clutch when building there car but you cant go wrong with a twin disc setup. I see guys build a high rev motor with big cams and through in a 2600 act and when they try to shift past 7500rpms it doesnt. Its almost impossible to get a single disc setup to shift above 8000rpms.

I was going to get some 280's but I wouldnt even beable to shift high enough to use them with my crappy fidanza/2600/4 puck setup.

My buddy has that setup. Only thing that sucks is the clutch chatter. Its pretty bad. Ohh and not to mention broken half shafts if you drop that thing too hard. My buddy broke two half shafts on pretty much a stock setup with a stroker motor.

I just put up some install pics and some generic instructions.

I just bought this same clutch but it was "used" but new and never installed and came with no instructions to follow and i really don't want to install this in the wrong order, if the way im thinking could be the wrong order.

In your pictures when you break it down and show what stacks on top of the other, is this the correct order? Like all the hubs on the clutch disc should point towards the pressure plate? I thought maybe the disc closest to the flywheel may have the hub facing towards it so it wont rub the other hub once the pad starts to wear.

And one other question are both discs the exact same? Like hub length? For some reason one of the discs i have is orange like both of yours but the other one is a faded pink color.

Any help would be great!
