i just got my 95gsx automatic back 2 days ago with a engine with 80k on it.i have a few questions. i am only looking to gain about 20 to 30 hp,just enough to walk my friends 2008 lancer gts,its pretty much a even race now.i realy dont want to mess the engine up again but i already have a manual turboxs boost controller,do you think i should just upgrade my fuel system and turn the boost up about 4or5 lbs and call it a day or do you think it would be smarter to get these items

-msd ignition
-ngk plugs and wires
then take it to the local dsm shop here in stl and get it tuned once,and do ihave to buy some sort of engine managment just to get it tuned once.so its either turn the boost up a few lbs or that list of items.also i just was wondering about dsm link or the f-con system can i just get one of those,and what kind of power would that give me.can an engine managment computer or managment system give u power on a stock engine.thanks for any help i greatly apriciate it i dont even know if im posting this in the right place

what boost are you set at currently?

ecmlink,msd ingnitioin, front mount, etc are probably overkill for what you want.

what you are wanting to do is a little overkill. id get a boost controller and a boost gauge. does your car still have the stock t25? you should be able to take him if you can add some more boost

If you want a little more power then yes add boost, by adding a MBC and a boost gauge, but be careful A/T come with smaller injectors than their manual counter parts.

Upgrading the fuel system is always a good idea when you want to increase boost. You do need a way to control the increased fuel and for what you want I would suggest buying a used SAFC. They are pretty cheap this way. Then some 550cc injectors and a walbro 190HP fuel pump. You will be set then to increase the boost quit a bit more safely and blow the doors off that lancer! And when you want to upgrade to a bigger turbo (t28 or 16g), because you want even more boost, you're fuel system will already be able to handle it.

What turbo are you running? If it is the stock T-25, it runs out of it's efficiency rate at around 15-16 psi, I dont know what you currently have it set at, but 15psi should be the highest.
Upgrading your fuel system is unnecessary if on the stock T-25. A rewire will be plenty.
You do not need MSD ignition at your stage
Yes you need engine management to tune it "just once" You need to be able to keep those settings.
DSMlink is a great option
