Just got my 2nd DSM, my new toy

Just got my 2nd dsm and this one is by far my favorite. Its a 97 gsx built with a big evo 16g tell me what you guys think and give some input on what you think might make the car nicer. thanks

Clean car, congrats, I'd go with what you want on the wing, I'd throw some methanol on it, make sure the cams are degree'd, and upgrade the exhaust if not already.

referring to the exhaust it does have a turbo back system but it still has a muffler and i know it is very restrictive, i have a great exhaust shop in town that can do a muffler delete for like 40$. If i did the muffler delete would that have any effect on my tune because it was tuned yesterday by nate blevins. and i don't want to have to pay 200$ to get it done again just because of a muffler delete thanks.

Looks like a pretty nice car. I would get do something about the upper radiator hose almost touching that manifold.

Not bashing on the car its very nice and all, but i don't understand why people take apart a pretty much new engine and rebuild it.
67k stock miles on a 14 year old car is a keeper in my book.
UNLESS, there was a MAJOR reason for doing so.

No comments on the wing. If you like it, then that's what really matters.
I like our stock wing because I feel it's like our signature... kinda like the bump in our hoods.

When i bought the car it was a garage queen , it wasn't a daily and the guy got bored with it so he did all the work just for a project build this was the guy's 20th dsm the only reason he sold it to me was because he fell behind on his house payment, he looked like he was gunna cry when i left haha.

Very nice, clean looking car. Minus the fugly spoiler. But I'm sure you already have plans of removing that. You should also throw a set of OEM headlights or some projectors with black housings. The chrome doesn't go with the red very well.

Aw I feel sorry for the guy who lost his baby . But its a good thing it didn't go to some stupid 17 year old kid with no knowledge on DSMs, and no care to learn about them. Nice find and take care of her.

Update the previous owner on whats going on with the car too. I'm sure he would appreciate it.

So listen to this bs, i haven't even owned the car for 24hours i got the flu on my way home from the doctor and i get pulled over going 53 in a 55. said my tint was to dark and as you guys can see its not even tinted, i was so damn mad. He towed my car and issued me a 150$, and i had to pay 120 to get the car out of the tow yard. Aint this some bs

Take him to court. Did the officer measure how dark your windows are or did he just assume?

he just assumed he didn't measure shit and not to mention when my car was getting towed i scrapped in the front and back i was so mad

I dont think the wing stays bad. Im just gonna throw that out there. Its not too big and gives the car a bit of dimension. Turbo wing is still my fav though

ok. i got in the car this morning and it wouldn't start tried for 10 minutes and it finally started but it didn't want to idle it would die if i wasn't on the gas, i got ahold of the guy i bought it from and he said the map sensor was unplugged i looked at it and it was fine then he told me the wideband sensor needed to be dried out. any ideas that can help thanks?
