Just got a Magnus intake manifold but I need help!

I bought the intake 1st magnus manifold a while back when I was planning on putting a 1st gen head on my 2nd gen talon. I decided to just build a 2nd gen head instead because it came to me easy. So what should i do? Can I still use it, should i use it?

Please I welcome all advise!
 
I meant is this a street car, drag car, autox, etc? An SAFC wont control the sort of injectors you want IMO and wont give you the full potential of your car because it has no provision for timing control. I would suggest DSMlink, a Keydiver chip, or an evo8 ecu. It may cost more to go with a better tuning option but I think that it is far more important than spending your money on a big turbo that you can't take advantage of.

Also if at this point you aren't controlling your injectors with anything you should take the 10 minutes to switch them back to stock. The larger injectors aren't giving you more performance and they are probably hurting performance quite a bit. Even moving to 550cc injectors is too much for the stock ecu to handle.

dont have the 550's on yet not till i get the controller or even m fuel pump and like i said i got the aem ems so i just need something for now.. dont want to spend too much on something that i'm gonna have to resell. I want the car to be for street, oh and i might get the coil on plugs soon.. I'll post pictures later on. :sneaky:
 
Yeah, sorry about that, when you started talking about an SAFC I forgot that you had an EMS.

If you plan on using the car on the street then you have definitely made the right decision by sticking with a 2g head. If you have a FPR then there isn't any reason why you couldn't put your fuel pump in, but I guess if you don't have larger injectors then there isn't really any reason that you would need to either.

Nevermind I just read through that thread again and realized that the IM was designed for a 1g head, I'm sorry about that.

If you plan on using the car on the street then you have definitely made the right decision by sticking with a 2g head. Yeah I saw that.. :notgood:on 1st gen heads.. LOL hey I have question my aem ems didnt come with gauge am i supposed to buy one still? do i need it? :aha:
