I just got this Talon from a friend,he said he was done with it and didn't want to mess with it anymore. All it need's is the fuel rail installed. I has a Cyclone intake or engine what ever that is, the heads fresh rebuild,new belts, timing parts,tune-up etc. This car ran last year but threw a belt. One problem is that the A/C pulley does'nt line up with other pulleys, so how do I fix it, and what is the deal with a Cyclone over non Cyclone???

Nice on the free car.. The difference is probably just the diameter inside.. Cyclone is bigger I bet..

There's no difference between cyclone and non-cyclone other than the butterfly valve thing in the cyclone. It's useless anyway as we don't have the wiring to actually use it. I wish my car was free, nice deal man.

Oh Yeah did I mention that I got this car for free!!! I don't know much about these cars, I'm more into muscle cars, but do have a growing respect for "TUNERS"

sounds like your gonna need 8-16 new valves, and a new head gasket.. if that timing belt went then its not gonna run till you fix it.

dsm= interference motor =:notgood:

The heads all done I just bolted it back on my buddy is a Dodge Master Tech. he has a 96 AWD turbo that he just finished, no he has my project!!

No not yet, it's white w/gray/blk interior, nice shape,clean outside a little rust under. whith stock wheels.

Good deal. Hopefully, you will have fun with it and enjoy decent gas mileage. Take a look around this site. You will find pretty much everything you need to know about your Talon.

the cyclone is a 12 valve motor. same block as the normal 8valve 4g37 just has a 12 valve head.

the cyclone is not a 12 valve motor- it's the japan version of a 4g63. the intake is different. I've had two of them and like the intake. There is no egr valve and the butterflies are vacuum actuated. just hook the vacuum line for the egr system to the butterfly actuator and it works almost identical to the way it would in a japanese car. you can find more about these intakes on this site. p.s these intakes have more torque than the stock intake and it is fun to drive.
