Welcome!

Overheating, try these steps-Others will chime in since I probably won't have all the basis covered..

First, check for leaks on all coolant lines, Check to see if both upper and lower rad hoses are still flowing correctly, if its cold replace. change thermostat, flush rad after all leaks have been looked for or changed.

As, for the codes, I know nothing of.. perhaps someone else will be able to help

Look underneath the car to see if there is an aftermarket DP, check the size of it. You can run without a CAT if you prefer or whether or not your state allows you too.. solely dependant on your preference and risk. If there is not one already but you should see if there is a Cat back exhaust on there as well, if not get one as the exhaust should have the same flow throughout.

16G is a very popular upgrade and pretty reliable can make a decent amount of HP if tuned correctly. Find out which 16G it is, could be a ebay knockoff, check serial #, there is a thread on here to determine that. Do you have the 550 injectors in there already installed? If so, you should definitely get that SAFC hooked up so you can tune it, you will also want to check to see if the Fuel Pump has been upgraded.

Other than that, start with all basic maintenance, sounds like this car needs it. Timing belt, spark plugs, Balance shaft belt(also, delete this as it is not necessary) oil change, transmission flush, all fluids for that matter etc... You get the idear...

Welcome... Congrats on your first DSM, IMO, so much better than a Honda.

Anyway sounds like there are a couple of things disconnected somewhere. First off you aren't driving the car like this are you? If so you could be doing damage to the car. larger injectors with nothing compensating for them = bad juju...Take some pics for us... Would help with trying to sort out your issues, especially things like the cut wires at the ECU... Are they cut going from the engine to the ecu or just the SAFC to the ECU?

Two of the codes for the O2 sensor (136 and 141) could just be that if the previous owner did in fact install an aftermarket DP then he may have not reinstalled the rear O2. Not sure about the other two O2 codes, possibly bad O2 or just disconnected. As for the last 2 codes (403 + 443) again the previous owner may have removed some of if not most of the emissions equip. Take a look at the fire wall next to the brake booster there should be three solenoids there. One is for the EGR, one is for the Evap purge, and one is for the Fuel pressure regulator. Show us some pics... It would help us to help you.

Thanks alot for the info guys I will def try to take pictures in the morning, how do I reply with pics im new to this forum
And the 550cc injectors are not installed yet , the previous owner had them in the car but he said it ran lile shit without th tune so he put the stock injectors in ...
I will try and do all the maintenance asap
I havent been driving the car because I just bought it and havent got plates yet .. Just drove it once or twice arou.d the block

I believe thw wires are just cut from ecu to safc , but like I said will try to take pics tomorrow just gotta let me know how to reply with photos LOLl thanks again fellas

Btw I was trying to find the thread to see which 16g turbo I have with the serial number but I cant seem to find the thread can anyone repky with the link to it so I can find out which 16g turbo I have

Last Couple pages, I posted the serial #'s of 16G's, should be able to identify yours.

Initial SAFC Setup

A few installation tips first. Be sure to use the Pink and Orange wires for the airflow signal wires, and NOT the Yellow and White wires. The AFC is a universal device and is setup to handle both Speed-Density and Mass-Airflow type systems. The Pink and Orange wires are for Mass-Airflow systems like Mitsubishi's.

I think you said you have the SAFCII, there is the blue wire mod you can do as well.

how do I reply with pics im new to this forum

You can either upload them to photobucket (best if you are taking large size pics) and then just add the link to the pic in the reply. Or upload them to DSMtuners either by attaching them to the thread (look for the paper clip above where you type your reply) or by uploading them to the gallery and then posting the link.

Noo I have the safc 1 ... I DONT HAVE THE SAFCII ....i have the first one

And im gunna check the numbers now on the turbo

The turbo I found in the car the numbers were

01420 then in big letters it says TD05H

But I thought TD05H was a 16g from a galant

And 01420 was a Big 16g

Which one is it??
