Just a giant MESS.. that im stuch with...

So I ordered a set of main bearings from, along with 9 other items which came to roughly $550, got it all shipped, it came like 10 days later cause I ordered on Dec. 28, which I didn't really care about. But it would have been nice to get sooner. I go through and look at all of the parts. And I have a 97 GST, so I assumed that I would have a thrust bearing in the main bearing box. WRONG. So I did some investigating and discovered that I needed another part from ACL. So I call up extrempsi and I explain to them, and they tell me that I need a part. Well I get that part 2-day over night to me so I can build my engine that weekend, part arrives; Jan 12. We go to build my engine, we clean the block and everything up, install my BSEK, we clean the main bearing surfaces on the block, and then get the mains out, oil everything up, and put them in. I then go get the part that I received and its just two pieces of metal... so now me and my dad are left going wtf.....

So we call everywhere in town, NOBODY has bearings for me.

So I go to call and their closed cause I'm on the west coast, and their on the east coast... ok. No big deal.... I'll just send them an email. I sent it last night, because I was busy with work and all of my other things I do.

Well I get a call today, and I was in school. So I get home, and I call them back. And I was told because I opened the main bearings and oiled them, that they can't resell them... I paid 50 for those damn things and I can't even use them!!!!!! and then I ask about that stupid ass thrust washer garbage they sent me... and what am I told... that I'll get a 100% refund for my whole $11.xx, but NOT on my shipping, which cost me $17.xx. So now i'm even more pits about this whole thing... I was hoping to just get back the money for the thrust washer since it was their error.

I'm very disappointed.... I went with them because I was going to save some money, and because of all of the horror stories I heard, but now i'm kind of wishing I went with... I don't think I'll ever order something from again... and their customer service is and if anybody from reads this, I really don't care anymore.

And for anybody who orders bearings for their engine, just call the place you're ordering, because you may get the wrong set. So I went with and got them A LOT cheaper...

Sorry for the vent... I'm just pissed... my build has been getting set back and back by such little stupid things...
