My Junkyard story

After my Uncle got a flat tire... He never replaced his spare tire... So we didn't have a spare...

So after waiting for an hour...His friend came and helped us out, he took us to get a tire for my Uncle. Then we went to the store/bank a while after we put the tire on.

This convinced me to go to the junkyard and search for a spare tire for my car.
Next day I go to the junkyard and snipe pieces/things I needed.

Let me know how I did!

- Got 2 spare tires ( A spare tire, for my spare tire ;p ) don't Judge me!
- Ashtray
- Lighter
- Cover that covers the trunk
- The top of the trunk plastic piece, it was broken so I replaced it
- A cap for my wiper's fluid
- Sun visor clip (4 of those) ;p

- Replacement Ac Controls
( controls since previous owner spray painted them black and I couldn't remove the paint... )

The cargo cover is probably the rarest. How much did it all cost you?

I have the two tone leather tan and black interior. I grabbed a MINT tan trunk cargo cover for $14 out the door. Probably my best purchase at the junkyard so far. Congrats on the good find.

I just recently got a black dash, with all the matching tan panels on the dash, the steering wheel & air bag, PLUS a few other trim pieces for $65... I guess you did alright.

Got a cargo cover, cargo net + all hardware AND a third brake light for a 2gb Eclipse for $15 total.

I went back for black interior from a Spyder since I got such a good deal, and they want 300 for the dash and center console alone. Just took the door panels for 5 a pop.

I bought 3 spare tires, a cable to the hood for my Uncle, those pieces you guys seen, so like $120 ish??? I think ...

Thanks guys! I was like wtf when I saw the cargo cover! Then I was like sniped mine!!!

Just need a new console, triangle mirror covers, spare tire kit, carpet for the trunk, headliner, front bumper changed, back bumper changed, change my ac buttons since they're spray painted... Darn idiot!!! -.-

From the title it lead me to believe you got some awesome rare find or something, haha. Still good trip to the yard! There isn't a lot of parts for these cars at the yards around here. Well when I am there anyways

A decent cargo cover goes for about $100 so I'd say he did pretty good...

IMO my car looks way better then it did before! So to me it was a good find! tell me that ashtray doesn't make it look better! Hahha
Every JY I have been to had nothing, I took my friend to the JY cause he needed something also, and told me about this spot where they have my car. I was like if your lying to me You're walkin home! -.-

There was like 12 2g, and a TALON,
3000gt ( they didn't let me touch it, was in restricted area! >.<)

When you say black interior, you mean the seats an what not?
I don't like my console, I wanna replace it and get one with it li, it feels like this console is broken! >.<

If it's not the same as the stock knob, it's very similar.

IDK if I'd call the console ugly, but I definitely prefer the armrest/lid. Have you ever seen the tachless gauge cluster? They are only on the really basic models. There's one for sale on ebay right now.

What is the tachless gauge cluster? I went to eBay and couldn't find it, I'm not sure what it is.

I still wanna snipe that knob of yours though, just still figuring out PayPal
How tall is your knob from the one I got?

My friend works at a junkyard at he got me a truck load of interior parts. 2ga wing with break light. Two cargo covers. 97-99 door panel inserts. 2ga silver front bumper. Grey cloth back seat. Tail lights. Broken CARBON FIBER HOOD He only charged me $10 for everything. I have alot more in my garage that i didnt list. Need parts hit me up

Mine was full of glass too, I was picking microscopic pieces out of my hands for days.

I had most of the glass between my index finger and my thumb and open palm. In the end I am a quick healer ;o . It has some glass left, really tiny pieces need to re-vacuum it!

As long as we are happy with our purchases, that is all that matters!
