I have just finished doing a 5 speed swap and I also put a 93 7bolt motor in my 95 GST.
Besides the idling issues, the main thing that is bothering me, is that when first taking off in 1st gear the car shakes and jerks, and giving it gas makes it worse. I sort of have to ride the clutch then once I let out its fine, even shifting through all the gears. Also it does it sometimes while starting off in reverse.
I have replaced the slave and master, and bleed the system several times. I have a stock pressure plate and an act street disk.
My question is, could it be that the flywheel needs resurfaced, I was told that it already was, and does it need to be set to a certain step because of the street disk.
Also, could it be that the dowel pins weren't installed between the motor and tranny, I really need to figure this out.
