jdm vs Usa

I would like to know what the diffrence is. i have a 92 Tsi. and the trans is bad. would a jdm bolt right up. i can get one cheep.is the jdm better? thanks guys

I could be wrong but I thought all JDM transmissions came from AWD Galants

Alot of JDM trannies have different gear ratios and wont work with a USDM car. I would just pay and have you tranny rebuilt. Almost everyone I knew that bought a used (new to them) tranny had problems with it. It either would grind or had other problems and they had to do it again. Spend the money and do it right the first time.

shep sounds good. i,ve been looking at the site.look like a good deal. i just didnt want any down time. but for the money. you cant go wrong {TRE?}

TRE is another reputable shop. Call around and see what kind of deals you can get with each shop and or shipping etc.

I could be at tre in 2 1/2 hours.but ther pricey.eveybody is talking these guys right now.[SHEP VS TRE].but anything would be better then what i have. NO 2nd GEAR!!
