Jdm Evo 4 vs US Evo 8 vs Jdm Evo 8

Whats the difference besides the obvious

Usdm - has egr, map and other tabs
Jdm 8 - no map or egr
Jdm 4 - no map, egr or tube

Is that tube on the runners for the pcv? Is there any other thing Im not seeing? Read the evo 8 is good up to 700+ and 8300 rpms, cant find anything on the jdm 4 but it looks like the same. Any thoughts?

So this is a Jdm Evo 4 or is it something else? Notice it doesnt have anything like the above, is it still the same power and rpm output as the usdm 8 limit...

The tube along the runners is most likely a balancing tube so give more equal pressures across them all or the egr was circulated back in there. The 4 seems like it takes the early steps from the evo 3 manifolds as it was almost just cast the other way around. Of course the later IM will see better gains no doubt due to new tech and.testing and limits of said items. Having said that ours was kind of a down grade when they already had a great IM on the evo 3's soo..... Maybe im wrong but if you dont need all that crap then get the one with the least crap on it and the biggest opening for the throttle body
