Alright guys.... Do you reccomend Porting the Compres. Housing ( ic outlit ) on the evo316g? I ported the exhaust portion upgraded the flapper , Now im thinking of porting the IC Outlit because its rather small.... Also If any of you guys have done that , Have you port matched the j-pipe ( the flange of it )

Mods are as follows...

3'' Turbo Back ( not cat )
Tubular o2 housing
Intake ( K&N ) Modifyed stock "tube"
AEM UEGO wideband
Pocketlogger
SAFC II
evo 3 big 16g (ported )
Ported GT manifold
550cc injectors
aeromotive afpr
Big FMIC ( short route )
greddy rs bov
Spec stage 2 clutch
Motor mounts
255 pump

I have port matched both my 16G and 18G. I don't know if it helped any but it deff. can't hurt. I gasket matched it and the j-pipe. Just be carefull and use sense when doing so.

I agree that the air is Very turbulant right there. But with that said. Any place you can open up the air flow passage is going to help. It removes some of the restriction in that area. larger opening=more airflow.

Thanks guys i i had to modify the j pipe anyways to fit my frontmount piping. So i went ahead and opened up the flange as well as the compres. housing :thumb:

Should have some numbers for you guys in the next couple days
