its raining and i have no power to wipers

i searched around and couldnt find anything...

the other day we installed a new cd player into my 95 tsi. now before this my wipers worked. now they dont. it keeps poppin the fuse. we tried unhookin the motor to see if that was causing the fuse to pop but it wasnt it. any other ideas yall? could the switch be bad? o and we first realized they wouldnt work when my buddy turned on the rear and it went up and then blew the fuse. thanks

could the rear motor be bad? the wiper arm is stuck up? would this cause this? i need help bad it rains everyday here.

If you didn't install that stereo using a harness adapter from the radio to the car, take it back out and start pulling wires until the wipers no longer short out.

nah i didnt use a harness adapter. there wasnt one. i just connnected each wire from the previous tape player to the cd player/
