Issues with 91 awd

I found a 91 awd I'm interested in. owner says there's no abs it got deleted but said there's no breaks at all, or break lights for that matter. he said the car idles but if you rev it to high it shuts off. Also, if you start it up and let it sit the battery just dies and needs to be jumped to start back up. Can anyone help. I'm really interested in this car but not if these issues are happening!
