I talked this dude down to $40 bucks, seems like a nice piece, looks pretty new, was installed on a non working ecu and he says he doesnt need it anymore.

I believe you will also need an adapter harness specific to the vehicle. IMO it's not that great of a deal.

ok ### as of right now i dont have a turbo timer, i just let my car sit for a minute and circulate at idle before shutting it off...sound good for now?

If you're still on a factory water-cooled turbo (T25/T28, 14B/16G/20G), a turbo timer is a waste of money. The turbos are designed to use the water as a heat sink in order to prevent oil coking after the car has been shut down. Turbo timers are another one of those mods that one person bought because they needed, then 900 other guys bought them because they just had to have one.

None of my cars have a turbo timer, nor will they ever have one. If you're at the dragstrip, driving back the return road is enough to allow your turbo to cool properly. If you're driving back to your house, about 99% of the time it's not possible for anyone to rip into their driveway at full boost and shut the car off because of quiet and tight city streets.
