Is this lifter shot now?

Well I was pulling out my lifters today and what do you know this happens, I'm assuming I can't use this anymore right? And any clue how to get the other part of it out of my head?

I got it with vice grips. I'm just gonna buy a used lifter off of dsmgraveyard
