1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5-spd (2-Owner Car)
-------------------------------------------------
Body - 200,000 miles
Engine - 60,000 miles
Transmission - 30,000 miles

The car is in good shape except for a few chip-rust spots on the hood, and a fist-sized rust spot on the driver's rear wheel well. Headliner is falling, but interior is great other than that. All power, no sunroof. Car is 100% stock save for a K&N filter, a rusty aftermarket muffler, and a (very) cheap tape deck.

The guy wants $1200, which I think is reasonable - do you guys agree?

About 2 years ago - $600 with a dead ECU, dead Alt, P/S leaks, bad Tires, bad Coolant hoses, bad Brakes, bad Oil Seals, Headliner fallen, etc, etc... it did have a new Clutch but I'm sure my son has knocked the new off of it by now... Got about $4K in it - runs like a top.

That 90's a GOOD DEAL IMO!

These cars stay together pretty well. If you don't hear any bearing noise, and it's not blowing a cloud out the back, it's a good deal. You can find a lot of them between $1,500 and $2,000, but much less than that and they are usually crap. You may have a really good find.

It sounds like a great deal, I paid 700 for mine. It needed battery, starter, windshield, turbine housing, ecu..misc other things.. They gave me alot of parts with the car, I sold 300$ worth of the free parts so far so i got some of the money back I put into it.

I would keep your eye on this deal because someone could come scoop this right up from under you, if you are taking your time thinking about it! I'd say if you had the that amount of money, Take it with you.. Tell him you'll give him x amount of dollars cash right now, if he refuses ask him whats the lowest he'd go. If he wont budge, I'd take it before someone else does. Thats just my opinion. I know when I bought my car a kid from 40minutes away was also coming to buy the car, I got there before him, so well... When he got there.. Lets just say his car wasent there.:shhh:
