Is this an automatic sign for a bent valve?

Hey guys.. here's the issue: my 95 GSX drove fine, then it sat for 5 months while I did a complete suspension rebuild/replacement. All of a sudden it won't start and it has zero (0) compression. I'm pretty sure it had to do with the lifter being stuck in the raised position and not bleeding properly upon startup. I pulled the rocker arms and lifters and saw this.. Is this an automatic sign for a bent valve?

Either bent or seized in the guide.

^^^^ I would agree!!

I would lean more towards seized to start.... but bent now....

Hope the head of the valve is not broken off the stem....

DO NOT spin the engine over any more!!!!

99% of the time when the rockers jump off the valve tip you've got bent valves. I'd pull the head before you start it/turn it over and do more damage.

Thanks for the input, JAM. The valve/spring moves down, but doesn't go up more than that.

The rockers didn't jump off, I took them out. BUT theone on the right was loosely positioned in there..

If it moves down.. but not any further up its bent.... if the head had popped off, the valve top would be higer than normal
