i recenty bought a full 6 bolt swap out of a 2g gst with the tranny from my local junkyard for $650 . hks 272 cams, rolling rockers, duel valve springs, titanium retainers, not sure what valves, arp head studs, eagle rods, not sure what pistons, arp main and rod bolts and balance shafe delete. i hihnt want to pull the head of it looks to have a fresh cosmetic head gasket.
anyway the motor is fully built so i was thinking that if someone put all his money in the engine that he probably wouldnt have a stock tranny.

is there any way i can tell if its worked, any markings?

Open it up, obviously. There will not be any visible outside markings. Most shops will repaint the transmission. If it has the original paint on it, then I doubt it has been altered from a shop.

look for hardend shift rails go to jacks transmissions website look at there premium builds and look at the pictures
