I had a wire short out last week in my cabin causing a bunch of smoke and a couple other melted wires. I went through and repaired everything I could find but now my stereo isn't working. The cd player looks like it's working fine and doing it's thing, the power light is on for the amp, fuses are good etc, but one day I turned the car on and got a loud "BOOOOOOWWWWUUUUH" sound over and over. It does that whether or not I have the volume up or down. I ended up having to unplug the RCAs from the amp and now I have no music :(

PS, I don't know squat about car audio.
