Is the GM MAF accurate with boost>>blow through

I am debating on using the gm maft setup on my 2g eclipse in a blow through setup. But i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge how accurate the gm air sensor (hotwire type) is with boost. I don't want to be running lean at wot. I guess i understand how they work and by the sound of things it dosen't sound like it could even read boost. Or would i just be better off using it as a pull through setup. My reason for doing this is so i can make a cold air intake by moving the filter into the bumper somewhere and not have to worry about the bov vent:thumb:
 
It is VERY accurate, there are a bunch of DSMers using them, as well as hundreds of big power turbo GN guys.

You might go back and look at how it works again. BTW None of our mas's read boost, but they do measure airmass flow rate (either directly or indirectly).
 
I know that they don't read boost and a lot of people have them. But if you have the maf before the turbo, isn't it going to read more air comming in since it is uncompressed than it would after the turbo (compressed) because the airflow would be the same axcept there is more air in the same area therefore requireing more fuel.

The maf reads airmass flowrate based on heat transfer from the 'hotwire' to the air. Whatever mass of air enters one end of your system will exit the other end as long as you don't have any leaks. Otherwise your pressure changes and things equalize back out. I think you are thinking that it measured air velocity, in which case pressure and temperature would make a difference. In measuring mass, though, the way the hotwire mafs do, it doesn't make a difference.
