.. unless your intercooler is VERY inefficiant i.e. stock, that thing can get heat soaked quick... even by a T28

I have to agree. My Killer feels the same way and I'm still on my stocker SMIC, but not for long. And I'm running the BPR7ES plugs, you should do the same.

example of cold morning 15 psi... i just bought a safc-II nething i can do to help?

i found out my problem... unbelievable boost spike in cold temperatures. I am pining the boost gauge at 30+ psi when its frezzing out. I thought that MBC are more reliable then that. Or could it be my wastegate??

Or a combination of the two ;) Spike is a result of the boost control and WG systems inabilty to react quickly enough to a fast spooling turbo. So make changes with this in mind, anything to decrease the response time. Decent sized, short lines. Use reinforced line, like high pressure fuel hose that wont expand and contract with changing pressure, etc. Smaller bleed hole can help as well. Some MBCs are more prone to it than others as well.

dude 30psi...thats crazy...I would also do a compression test or leakage test on the car, high psi on stock composite head gasket and head studs could cause it to blow...actually much over 21-22 psi can. Most stock head studs start to expand after this much pressure...making it MUCH easier to blow the gasket.

Just do the check and make sure everything is ok

I would change that to "stock bolts and gasket CAN make it blow at over xx psi." The reason I say that is plenty of people have done well over 400 whp on stock bolts and gasket. The bolts are the weakest link. The stock head gasket does well at over 30 psi and 500 whp. But the bolts I wouldnt trust at that level.
