I have to agree. My Killer feels the same way and I'm still on my stocker SMIC, but not for long. And I'm running the BPR7ES plugs, you should do the same.
Spike is a result of the boost control and WG systems inabilty to react quickly enough to a fast spooling turbo. So make changes with this in mind, anything to decrease the response time. Decent sized, short lines. Use reinforced line, like high pressure fuel hose that wont expand and contract with changing pressure, etc. Smaller bleed hole can help as well. Some MBCs are more prone to it than others as well.
