What the Hell is That Silver Box??

ok, I borrowed this picture from another thread.
Do you see the sparkplug wires run from the head to the coils on the firewall? TO THE LEFT of the coils on this car is a silver box, ALL dsms have this...what the HELL is it? We have been racking our brains over this.

i'm not exactly 100% sure of what purpose they serve or what they regulate, i just know whats in that little silver box

Not if you cast a level 3 Ward of Ogre Resistance while wearing a -2 to Wizard damage ring. That's what Shep does to run 9's you know.

The resistor box does something to allow our injectors to be low impedence injectors. Many other cars run high impedence and there actually is a hack that you do to that box to be able to run high impedence injectors in our cars. Basically, if it is on Johns car, you have to leave it in the car.

Kilurv8 is right. The resistor alows the car to run low impedance injectors. It basically translates a signal from the injectors to something that the computer can work with. In Jon's case who knows how it has it running.

Honda guys use resistor packs from the 88-91 Civic Si family because Honda put Low impedance injectors in those cars. They have a few wires in and out that you just interrupt your into your injectors clips and voila you can run low impedance injectors on any car. They are universal and sell for about $10 at most wrecking yards. If your looking for one for a project they are near the fire wall on the drivers side. They are about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide about 1/2 inch thick and are silver aluminum with heatsync's on the top. You can use those in your Honda buddies cars if they wanna run 450cc dsm injectors.
