alright since i have been having trouble w/ the car i never checked my compressor wheel cause the seller kept advertising "brand new turbo" well i got suspicious and snapped these pics. i dont know if the fins are supposed to be curved like that or if they are supposed to be straight, so can you guys look and tell me if this is good or not? thanks!!

no there isnt any shaft play. i just didnt know how the fins were supposed to look. the car wont go past 5 psi. and doesnt want to go above 10 with the MBC... main problem is i smell gas and have changed the radiator, o2 sensor, pulled injectors, tuned, and alot more since i got it... but havent replaced the fuel pressure solenoid...

i just cant figure it out, im only getting the fuel pressure solenoid cel

but isnt that just for cold starts?

Yeah, thats fine, unless the blades are rubbing against the housing or have hairline cracks in them. Its too hard to be sure from those pictures if there a cracks or not. One thing you can check is for play in the shaft. If theres any play going in or out, youve got issues, and you should have very very little to no play back and forth. I hope that helps a little. Take a look within some of the threads and you can find what a screwed up compressor wheel looks like.

Wow you better check the kanuter valve too!! :tease: Just Kidding. The blades are supposed to be bent they create a more uniform airflow through the turbo. If the blades were straight air would be bouncing all over the place.
