420A Is my sunroof factory?

I want to try and put a nice headliner in my car but the previous owner clearly had problems with my (used to be) leaking sunroof and ripped the headliner out.

I can’t tell if my sunroof is factory or not since I’m not familiar with these cars that much I just recently bought my 98 Eclipse RS, which I’ve read doesn’t come with a sunroof and others say it’s a factory option, but idgaf about hearsay, I just need to figure out how to get a headliner in my car and it doesn’t look like the factory headliner will fit because of how my sunroof looks on the inside. I also want a sunshade because it’s missing that as well.

It looks like the previous owner just spread some red fabric across the roof and screwed them in with sheet metal screws. IDK what’s going on with that and they tried putting lights around the doors, roof, and dash. Cool idea, but poorly executed, I’d rather just have a nice headliner in the car and a sunshade.

nope that is not a factory sunroof. some one cut a hole in the roof and added that.

the rs models did come with a factory moon roof as an option, technically a moon roof slides back to be open and a sun roof just tilts open but does not slide

Yeah the sunroof will pop open and slide back most of the way, but not all the way.. that’s crazy I can’t believe someone went through all the trouble of custom installing a sunroof in this car, guess I’ll have to find a way to custom fit a headliner and sunshade in it
