2G Help on my sunroof

Hey ppl I'm a newbie just got my first 96 eclipse gst thus week. Took glass outta sunroof to clean guides bc it didn't work now one guide is longer that the other please help!!

Take a picture because that doesnt make any sense... Did one break? or is one missing a section?

There was a thread from back in 06 and it's seems like the problem wasnt really solved look up "sunroof clicking" that's what is wrong with mine here r some pics though

I'm just short of getting ready to take out the whole sunroof to play with it more comfortably

That may be your best bet, looks like one side moved while the other did not, either way probably best to remove the whole unit and reassemble/lube while out.. good luck!

Just completed the job a day ago and that's what it took a full strip down to the bare. Looks like it skipped a line but u gotta read the fine print in the factory service manual in order to line up guides and motor.
