Worcester,
The other day i was driving and all of sudden my car was having a hard time going into gears i didnt think much of it just thought it was stuck or somethin. well then i drove a little more and the problem was worse it was harder and harder to shift into a gear i would literally have to throw it into a gear and i would hear a grinding. also my clutch doesnt feel like its there it pushes so easily so i think its the clutch well actually im pretty certain it has something to do with the clutch. i checked my clutch fluid it was also empty. i tried putting in more and bleeding it for a little while but it still did not seem to help, do you guys think i need to pump/bleed it more or do you think my clutch is gone?

also on a side note how much did you guys pay for a new clutch one shop quoted me 750-1000 which i thoguht was kinda high, havent called anywehre else yet been to busy..

Your clutch probably isn't gone, it just isn't disengaging because of a faulty master cylinder or slave cylinder. one or both of these will likely need replaced.
And they were quoting to put it in, not just the price of the parts. The $1000 price is what to expect, so do it yourself.

i found out it was my master slave it has brake fluid on it. one shop quoted me 160 another was 250 and 350 (slave and master not sure which order) but alot cheaper then a new clutch

check ur mitsubishi dealer and buy both master and slave cylinders and do it all at once. shouldn't be no more than $200; even for the clutch, it should no be more than $450, I paid $375 for a shop to install my ACT 2100 (bought it from prostreet) and both master and slave, that i also bought from the dealership.

Did both of the cylinders have fluid on them?
You should replace them yourself if you feel confident enough to do so.
It take minimal skill and the you just need to bleed the system afterward,
just follow your manual's proceedure.
