I just got my clutch chnaged back in august or september with a brand new act 2600 pressure plate and street disk. Today In the morning when I wotted the car in first gear, it felt like the damned thing slipped. It was not far away from work, so I didnt get to try it again. This was a random wot, I wanted to feel the power of the car since I dont wot it much. :) Ive raced the car only once from a stop, which was a month ago. The clutch has almost 9k miles on it. Anyone have blown their clutch so fast or could it be something else tahts slipping?

I've burnt through a 2600 in about 6 months. But I also had about 250 passes on it :) Adjust your clutch, and make sure you aren't preloading the master cylinder.

explain preloading please :) ,
