I took my A/C blower out since my a/c hasnt been blowing and I finally found the problem. The blower motor works but it needs a small push to get going. Is it dead? or can I put some bearing grease in there and hope itll work? I know these things are expensive! I think its dead, what about yall?

compressor sounds dead. You can get them used off ebay for a pretty decent price. Try there. And good luck.

you have to look at the thread crossed eyed to make sense of what he is saying. it appears he is talking about the blower motor not the compressor, besides if some one has the balls to try to spin their a/c compressor while the car is running to get it to start spinning please post the video, in your case yes you need a new blower motor. the brushes are shot or the coil windings have moved a small amount apart due to ageing affects. also check resistor block for blower.
