Hey guys looking for someone with some more knowledge than me. I'm really looking at buying this 14b on ebay 14b What do you guys think? If not, any leads on where I can get a 14b in good shape? Any things I should know?

Or should I just got for a 16g like this one:16G

Personally I would not buy a turbo off ebay. I would definatly just get a 16g, not a small one though and there are plenty of trustworthy people sellign good turbos on this site.

Just my 2 cents though

a friend of mine is selling a 16g. used of course but there is no play i'll see how much he wants for it.

Yea, notice how he says he HAD it on his car for 1,000 miles....not that its only 1,000 miles old. Its gotta be ALOT older than that. Also, I don't think its an EVO 16g...don't the evo's have different looking exhaust housings? Check out pics of them on some vendor's website...they don't look the same.

Well thanks for the info.Forget ebay then.I'll be on the look out for a 16G then, let me know if you guys have any. Also, could you put a 16G on a SMIC? I Know FMIC is best, but my budget isn't.Thanks for the replies

Yeah pass that up cause you dont know where thats turbo been especially a 14b come on they came out of 90-94 cars they probably got major mileage on em..IF you get one ur more than likely gonna have to get it rebuild..Your better off just gettin a brand new big 16g which are cheap these days like 400 something bucks....Also and install kit..but yeah as they say big 16g's are the best bang for the buck.......
