i have a pinhole leak in my radiator, and im curious i it would work to solder the pinhole leak shut with standard 60/40 resin. i figure if its possable, i might as well try that rather than spend 150$ on a new radiator.

no, there is on the bottom where it is only metal. Im going to sand it down and try this weekend. my only doubt is if i can get it hot enough

Radiator shops do this all the time but don't use 60/40 rosin - that's for electronics. Use acid core flux and same solder you use on plumbing pipes. Be aware however, that where there's one pin hole there almost always are more on the way very shortly. You would be better off (I've done dozens) to bring the radiator to a radiator repair shop where they will find and fix all the holes (and about to be ones) and pressure test it (and even paint it). They can do it in one afternoon.
