Hole in my radiator

I poked a hole in my radiator like an idiot. Luckily it's not too big and its on the metal core. A new radiator really isn't an option right now as I don't have the funds for it. What I wanted to ask is what are my best options? I've heard VERY mixed reviews on radiator epoxy, but my only two options is radiator epoxy or JB weld. I wanted to get input from people who have plugged up fairly small holes in their radiators and what worked best for them. Thanks

Glues practically never last. It needs to be soldered at a radiator repair shop. Call one for estimate.

ZDA1728. I have used jb weld and 60 sec epoxy before on two of my radiators on my other cars with success. Just make sure you let the mixture cure like the directions say before running your car again. This is a temporary fix mind you so replace the radiator whenever possible. Good luck.

I too have repaired a few radiators with JB Kwik weld and they are still working just fine, Just get a good mix and give it time to cure properly.

I think I'm gonna try jb weld as I can let it dry properly for at least 3-4 days while I wait on my parts

ePoxy is still holding on my FMIC.
20psi and no leaks.

Should be the same for radiators.

I would just figure out a way to shell out the $73 for a new radiator. After all, if the patch fails, then your out the patch costs, $20 worth of coolant, you're stranded, and possibly wrecked your engine.

^ even cheaper than that if you go to a junkyard, pull one, and have it pressure tested.

Epoxy will never hold even if its only 18psi max
