Is it ok to resodder the knock sensor wire?

Well today I pulled my intake manifold and I accidently pulled the wire for the knock sensor apart. Is it alright just to sodder it back together? Or will it mess with the signal in anyway?

JMO I dont see how using sodder would hurt anything, I would make sure your battery is disconnected first.

probably a good idea to use some heat shrink too

Or just use a Posi-Lock so you can get it out of the way next time.
