is it ok to clean valve cover with simple green?

I dont see why not. As long as it doesnt have a fancy paintjob(the vc not the car) on it then sure.
 
Just mind the gaskets - simple green and RTV don't like to get along, I usually use it to clean gasket mating surfaces.

I always like superclean. Dilute it like 6 water - 1 superclean in a spray bottle for the best cleaning solution ever.
 
I don't see why not i have used it before for the same purpose. I just took a old shop rag sprayed the simple green on the rag and wiped down whatever with no ill results.
 
I have done that several times... That simple green is no joke just use it full strength.
 
Sure. I used one big bottle of it with equal amounts of water. Make sure you don't have any gaskets on it. I let it soak over night, then washed it with water and let it dry... I then sent it to Boneheadperformance to get it powdercoated.
